Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo who is from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences of playing rehearsals with her mom. Silk made several commercials while she was still in the midst of her childhood. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to improve, before moving to Los Angeles California.
