Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo who is from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences of playing rehearsals with her mom. Silk made several commercials while she was still in the midst of her childhood. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to improve, before moving to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she was introduced to in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. They were engaged in 2009, and were married at a civil wedding ceremony in December of that year. They renewed their vows April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's was converted to Judaism. Silk got a baby who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th, 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in May of 2016. Silk is a variety of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. She was nominated for Gemini Awards in 2009 for this role. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the final season episode. She announced the pregnancy to fans of the series in a Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that production was underway for Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for Season 4 of the show. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the same-sex couple on Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to an extensive online presence using social networks.
